Job Purpose:
As repair technician you are responsible for performing repair activities, including rework, dismantling, and data collection, as well as diagnosing and repairing equipment across various commodities, utilizing technical expertise and tools to identify and resolve issues while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment
Accountabilities:
Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and functional tests.
Inspect and test equipment to identify malfunctions
Diagnose problems and develop solutions to repair equipment
Repair or replace defective components or machinery parts
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns
Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure proper equipment operation
Follow safety procedures and regulations
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and technological changes
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Relevant experience in fields such as manufacturing, construction, or maintenance.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
Hands-on experience with soldering.
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
In-depth technical knowledge of machinery and systems.
Skilled in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Self-motivated with effective time management skills.
Knowledge of the 5S methodology.
